Queries Student Perspectives

 Selim Havan picSelim Havan

I earned my B.A. in Mathematics Education from Hacettepe University, and my M.Ed. in Quantitative Methods from The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, I am a doctoral student in the Department of Educational Psychology with a specialization in QUERIES. My research interests are related to educational measurement and statistics, including Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Item Response Theory (IRT). I am currently working as a Research Assistant and assisting with educational program evaluation, student learning outcome assessment, and curriculum assessment across different programs and departments at the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL), and also teaching assistant for Educational Psychology.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy hiking, camping, playing tennis, and going to musical events at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
